I have written a story about Little Red Riding Hood.

It was easy for me to do.

Once there was a girl named Little Red

Riding Hood who lived with her mother and her grandmother

on the other  woods. Little Red Riding Hood went through

the forest to give some sweets to her sick grandma.

On her way a scary wolf popped out and tricked Little Red Riding

hood and then they lived happily ever after and they never saw the

My reflection

I have been learning to split numbers to help me add.  I found this tricky because I really didn't know what to do but then Mrs Rist taught me what to do.   I just need to follow the steps.  My next step is to keep practising this strategy.

My next step is to keep practising place value problems.

Making a Plan

I am learning to make a plan before  I  write. It was easy to think of the ideas that I did in the holidays. My plan and my story matches. It will help me if I use a plan again.

I saw  the army trucks.

I saw a parade and there were army jeeps and one large army truck.

When I went to my nana's I saw the army trucks. They closed the road because the army trucks were parked all over the road. They were big and tall and strong and cool.

Making a Connection

I am learning to make a connection between myself and a character in the story. I  got  a lot better  at thinking about the story and characters. Next time I could compare more than one character in a story. It was easy.

I am learning to put capital letters and fullstops. It is  bit tricky for me because I forget where they go. I will try and write one sentence at a time and put in the fullstop at the end of the sentence.
