playground time

On Sunday me and my family went bike riding. We went up Archmillen Ave and then down Marvon Downs. We went down the Alleyway and across the bridge and up the hill. we went down the gravel road behind school. It was very bumpy. We carried on until the gravel road had finished and up the grassy hill. we kept going until we got up to Gossamer drive. then we went along Gossamer Drive and up Ennis Ave until we reached La Trobe Ave.  We went up La Trobe Ave and turned into Megan Ave and half way down Megan Ave there was little wooden poles with grass and a footpath around it.  We rode down the footpath and then it went down and up and down again. Then the footpath stopped and there was a PLAYGROUND!

I dropped my bike and ran to the seesaw. I was sit climbing along the monkey bars. Mum said "That's not what you're meant to do Blake!" then mum said  she wanted to have a go. She did and she got up to the top and back down again. Then I ran to the rope bridge. I went across onto the wooden platform. Then I went on my bottom on the slide poles to the ground.  Then I climbed up the ladder, across the rope bridge and down the slide. Then I ran to the swings and I was swinging with my sister. Then I got on my bike, put my helmet started to go home.

On the way home we went up and down up and down the hills just outside the playground. Then we went back up Megan Ave. We took the long way home so Mum could run back home. 

We went up Marvon Downs and down Archmillen Ave. When I got home to my house, opened the gate and went inside. I put my bike away in the shed. Then I took my helmet off and went inside to put it away in my room. Then I got changed out of my sweaty clothes. I went out into the kitchen and mum said "because it's soooo hot and you look hot you and your sister can have an ice-block." We went outside and sat on the doorstep and ate our ice-blocks. They were yummy!!

Reflection: 

I found it easy because I was working with somebody. Next time I am going to work on my own.
