I was learning to work out what fractions were shown in the pictures. It was easy. I knew that I had to count the pieces that were shaded. That was the top number. Then I had to count how many altogether. That was the denominator. For the last question I had to order the fraction from smallest to biggest. It was medium. It was a bit easy because I knew the first one would come first and he last one would come last but the middle ones were tricky. I didn't know if one third or one half would go first.

I was learning that the bottom number tells us how many groups we need. I thought this was medium because it was a little bit tricky and a little bit easy at the same time because you have to work out halves and that. The extension challenge was easy for me to work out because I had already done the other ones so I knew the pattern.

I was learning to identify persuasive techniques. For example looking at examples on the document. These are the techniques i had to identify: emotional appeal, expert opinion, testimonial, repetition, bandwagon and slogan. For example, Coke has a slogan - "taste the feeling". The technique I find easiest to remember is repetition because its just repeating stuff. The other ones are harder to remember because with the expert opinion, you might forget their opinion. I think I did well with this one because it was a bit easy and a bit difficult at the same time. My next step is to create something that uses these techniques.
